“One is always at home in one’s past…”
- Vladimir Nabokov Speak, Memory
Picardie is Roaming (or De la nécessité des contrées. Corps, pensée, territoire. Nomadisme et paysage.) is a Picardie Vagabonde publication. It is a collection of our geopoetic exploration of the Picardie region, presented in beautiful concertina fold. Visuals and textes (in French and English) from Erkembode, Anne Mancaux, Nathalie Plet, @TjaKm & Pascal Naud.
Included in this publication are Erkembode's Memory Landscapes - a carousel mess of distracted memory; flashbacks from estuary banks and tower block balconies. A landscape drunk on time.

ROAM! ROAM! ROAM! LEEDS! was a psychogeography walk starting at Leeds College of Art and finishing at the recently submerged Kirkstall Bridge Inn, by way of the River Aire/Leeds-Liverpool Canal. Curated and led by myself and Kai Syng Tan of the Leeds College of Art Research Team.
We met Mimih interventions along the way - mischievous and chalk. We had flood resistant Mimih pilgrim badges. We discussed the Boxing Day floods, industrial history of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, water spirits, conversational graffiti, high rises and submerged ice breakers.
Thanks to all those that joined and supported the ROAM! ROAM! ROAM! Leeds.
